About the event
Energy healers of all modalities are invited to join us in bringing light and love to the waters of the Willamette River. This event was created by Patricia Ryder with the support of Karine Calhoun. Together, we will guide the ritual with song, words, and energy. Patricia will perform a water purification process in which water from Waldo Lake will be added homeopathically to remind the Willamette what it is like to be pure. Participants will be invited to run energy on the waters, in whatever way they know and love. We will conclude by sending leaves loaded with our healing intentions floating freely down the current.
A program will be provided with the words to the songs and the order of activities.Â
Watermelon will be provided as a snack after the ritual is concluded.Â
We will meet promptly at the gate to be admitted by the McKenzie River Trust volunteer who will open the gate to admit us. We must be timely in order to enter, as the gate will be closed shortly. No late admittance! No dogs are allowed in the nature reserve, our apologies to our dog owning friends. The McKenzie River Trust is striving to return the land to its original form, and dogs interfere with the comfort of wildlife.Â
